Terms and Conditions
PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBSCRIBING:
NOTE:
Your IP address is recorded when subscribing.
By subscribing to
directfeed.net. I am stating that I have fully read, understood and accepted all terms and
conditions listed in this agreement. If you have any questions about anything listed in
this disclaimer please direct them to webmaster@directfeed.net
before you subscribe.
The content of all discussion groups, including without limitation, the descriptions for
discussion groups and the content within a specific article, is provided by and is the
responsibility of the creator of the discussion group or the person posting an article.
directfeed.net has NO responsibility for such content and is merely a conduit of articles
traveling across Usenet. Usenet in general is a public forum much like the world wide web
is available to the public. directfeed.net does not control Usenet.
All articles on our servers are pushed to our servers via our upstream providers,
including large international corporations. directfeed.net receives well over 2 million
articles per day, and it is impossible for us or any other corporation running a Usenet
server to moderate newsgroups. Currently there are no state or federal laws that require
any ISP to moderate usenet newsgroups.
By its very nature, Usenet groups may carry very offensive, harmful, inaccurate or
otherwise inappropriate material, or in some cases, postings that have been mislabeled or
are otherwise deceptive. We expect that you will use caution and common sense and exercise
proper judgment when using Usenet, as well as use the service at your own risk..
Again we must emphasize that it is impossible for us or any other usenet service to police
hundreds of thousands of articles that pass through our servers everyday. Any article that
passes through our servers is the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of the person who posted the article
or created the newsgroup.
directfeed.net does not produce any content that passes through our servers.
directfeed.net does not publish any content that passes through our servers. What we mean
when we say publish is that we DO NOT extract pictures or programs from usenet for
redistribution by various means, such as putting them on CD-ROM or making slide shows or
putting them in zip files for download.
directfeed.net does not condone nor support people posting copyrighted or illegal content
to Usenet. If you discover an article that contains any copyrighted or illegal content
please contact us at webmaster@directfeed.net.
We will then have the offending article removed IMMEDIATELY, and forward any and all
relevant information to the appropriate federal law enforcement authorities.
The name of a newsgroup is not illegal in nature and does not necessarily imply
inappropriate or illegal activity. However we encourage customers to exercise caution and
discretion when viewing and posting to all Usenet newsgroups. All content, without
limitation, is provided by and is the responsibility of the person posting the content. We
expect all customers to abide by Usenet etiquette, copyright laws, and civil and criminal
laws.
Download Transfer Limits
Each account has a specified download transfer byte limit. For all accounts, the general
Acceptable Conditions of Use rules apply, even if there is no set download byte limit
(i.e.. Unlimited ). There is also a simultaneous connection limit (per
username/IP-number). We reserve the right to modify these settings at any time. You agree
that directfeed.net shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any
modification of the Service.
ACCEPTABLE C O N D I T I O N
S O F U S E:
directfeed.net
may curtail excessive continuous downloading usage of Unlimited accounts. directfeed.nets'
Unlimited account does not constitute a dedicated connection. If a customer appears to be
unable to maintain a reasonable use of the service, directfeed.net may cancel, suspend, or
decline to renew service for that customer without notice. It is within directfeed.nets'
sole discretion to determine what comprises unreasonable use.
accounts are for individual and/or personal use only. Any non-individual use, or any use
that is indistinguishable from non-individual or personal use, is prohibited. Usage that
can not be considered "individual or personal" also includes excessive
continuous downloading (of) or from any newsgroup(s), 24/7 downloading, or similar
activities, likewise you may NOT use a personal account to feed a news server, news
caching server, or similar. Any such use will be grounds for immediate account
termination, without notification . For example, the following uses are prohibited:
-Under no circumstances may a subscriber
share their account or login information with any third party whatsoever.
-Simultaneous logins from multiple IP
addresses.
-Connecting from a proxy of any kind.
-Using any multi-access caching system.
-Excessive download volume.
directfeed.net reserves the right to
suspend, terminate, or refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason. NO refunds
will be issued if your account is suspended and/or canceled for any of the above reasons.

WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING, and you may be billed (at the discretion of the System
Administrator) for the cleanup, at $200.00 (US) per hour, plus any Collections and or
Attorney's fee's incurred in collection of this fee. What is SPAM? it is any post(s) that
is unwanted, in the group it was posted to, in short if a group has a FAQ against
commercial ad's, and you post a commercial ad(s), on topic or not, and your reported, you
are Spamming. What is FLOODING? it is the act of filling a group(s), with unwanted posts
that are on, or off topic, pushing your point, freedom of speech is important, but not to
the point of damaging any person, and or group to prove your point of view. If your
posting access is disabled, it will remain so indefinitely. No refunds will be issued for
this reason.
FORBIDDEN ACTIVITIES
directfeed.net has a zero-tolerance policy for the following activities, and performing
any of them will cause permanent suspension of your posting ability. These activities
include, but are not limited to:
- Flooding: Attempting to take over a newsgroup by flooding it with your posts.

do not own the rights to. This is a serious crime carrying serious legal consequences!

- Harassment/Cyberstalking: Threatening or provoking confrontation with another party,
causing fear for ones personal safety. Posting anyone's personal information such as
phone numbers, addresses, social security numbers, etc. without that person's prior
consent also falls under this category. Report abuse issues here.

CANCELING AND REFUNDS
directfeed.net does not
warrant that the newsgroups or the newsgroup servers will
operate error-free or that the newsgroups or its server are free of computer viruses or
other harmful items. If your use of the newsgroups or the material results in the need for
servicing or replacing equipment or data, directfeed.net is not responsible for those
costs.

incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or lost profits) resulting from the use or
inability to use the Usenet service.
FRAUD
If your credit card or phone number was
fraudulently used to gain access to this service, Email a copy of the Police Report to us
at webmaster@directfeed.net. We will have
CCBILL. refund the charge and have your credit card or phone number blocked from anyone
ever using it with CCBILL. again. We will provide this information to the FBI and/or
Interpol for substantiation of criminal fraud charges. We take fraud very seriously, and
will press charges, both criminal and civil. Users who commit fraud by gaining access to
our sites and then by what ever means obtains refunds, are committing fraud against a
corporation in interstate commerce.
A Note from our billing company regarding
refunds and fraud claims:
It should be noted that, with very few
exceptions, every credit card refund results in that card number being entered into
CCBILL's negative database. This is our in-house record of past problem customers.
After that, the card number is forever blocked from purchasing anything from any CCBILL's
client.
Anyone who thinks about requesting a refund
by falsely claiming his card was used fraudulently had better be sure that he will never
again want to use that card on thousands of web sites. Even if the charge arrived on your
statement because someone else used your card (my son did what???), CCBILL has to assume
that if it happened once it might happen again. If someone unknown to you is placing
charges on your credit card, now would be a very good time to call your credit card
issuer, cancel that card number and start over with a new one.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
We do not provide dial-up service, you must have Internet access to use our service. Any
Windows, Linux or Macintosh system will work, and we are AOL and WebTV friendly. AOL and
